Over the last month I have been seeing a great guy, but because he finds himself in a difficult situation at the moment, I know that he isn't able to offer me a relationship.
A couple of days ago I left for my holiday and was really happy because this would make it easier for me to move on and forget about this guy.
Its's really weird cause the first night on holiday, I dreamt of him coming over to me and apologising for his distance, offering me a bouquet of dried flowers. The dream was really vivid and light, whereas normally my dreams would be dark and grey...
Could anyone help me analysing this dream, please....
Could anyone analyse this dream for me?
dreams are just symbols that the sub-conscious creates to help us deal with our problems that we cannot deal with during our awake state. dreams can only deal with the past and the present they do not deal with the future. why did you have this dream? maybe because you wanted to be reassured about this guy and don't really want to break it off with him, at least a part of you doesn't but part of you knows that you have to. the dried flowers represent the nature of your relationship with this man. the vividness of this dream shows how much you want this relationship to continue. you need to get on with your life and forget about this guy. you need to start living a life without him and prepare yourself to meet someone new that you can hjave a great relationship with.
Reply:I think that it means that he got through his bad situation and that he will come and see you and ya'll will make up. I think the light colors are in your dream becouse the mood is light and happy. I hope this helped!!
Reply:The dream is reflecting how you had hopes for a great relationship with him and your desire for him to follow you. Fresh flowers are always given to a girl with enthusiasm, dried/dead flowers means he has nothing to give. It is a guidance dream for you to move on.
Reply:You went on holiday and felt happy to have the opportunity to move on....and my guess is the move from dark and grey to colorful dreaming...and the dried flowers...could mean you came to the realization that this relationshipis all dried up ...and you let go
Reply:From a Jungian perspective, he is your animus, the male counterpart of your soul.
The desire for him to come apologizing means soo much to you at this time, he may even come to, but he offers you dried flowers..and perhaps that is a symbol of the relationship losing its color ...he is handing you a dried up difficulty to commit.
Its ironic though that the dream was warm and colorful in your surrounding but the flowers were not.
I hope this helps you some..
figure out from your own self what dried flowers means to you because it is for sure symbolic.
Reply:According to Dreamcrowd:
To see a lover in your dream, symbolizes acceptance, self-worth, and acknowledgement of your true inner value. It may also indicate integration of masculine and feminine traits into yourself. You are feeling complete or whole. To dream of an old or former lover, signifies unfinished/unresolved issues related to that specific relationship. Your current relationship may be awakening some of those same issues.
