Cucumber Plant?
How big a cucumber is a "littlr pickle"? Quarter inch? 18 inches?

You say you just got it. Is it in a pot?

Plant in the ground, or in a large pot. Pick off the little cukes, and give it plenty of water, sun and nutrients. If it doesn't bloom again in a week, back off on the watering.
Reply:This is on UK site, so if the plant is outdoors forget it, it will be dead at the first frost which could happen within the next few weeks, not giving your qc's time to mature. If indoors you have a better chance, the small qc's should mature. Pull of any diseased leaves. Do not over water and keep developing fruits off the soil
Reply:It has pickles on it? Thats not right at all! usually cucumber plants have cucumbers on them and then u season the cucumbers to make pickles. YOu have a special plant there.
Reply:Cucumbers are fun to grow. They like to climb, so try to give it an area where it can get vertical. The little babies just want some time, so let them grow. Make sure you fertilize it and other than sunlight and water, have patients. Don't let the cucumebers get too big or they will be watery. The flowers will keep appearing and turning into more cukes as the days go by. I'm curious where you have your garden. I live in SC in south eastern USA and our growing season is over. If you have a green house, great. Other than that, check to see what your local growing season is. I made a good relationship with my local garden center who can answer all my q's about whatever is ailing my plants. Happy to talk to another hobby gardner. Hope your growing goes well!
Reply:Yes pick as they become large enough, this will promote more growth, its good to pick off the brown leaves so the nutrients go to the fruit, good luck.
Reply:If the fruit is ripe pick it. The brown spots sound like a mould try to avoid getting water on the leaves. It could be the leaves are being burnt by the sun. Try a shade that doesn't block all but some of the afternoon sun. As for taking off the leaves at this time I would leave them on as the plant need all the energy it can get. If the plant is showing signs of weakening then maybe remove the leaves.

Good luck
Reply:It sounds like you are watering it too much and not feeding it. Get some plant food for vegetables and feed it as directed. Also they need a lot of sun.
Reply:Pick the cukes whenever they are the size you want to eat. Understand they are not pickles yet. They are just cucumbers until you put them in a brine and can them. Don't worry about the spots on the leaves. How much you water it with depends on what it is planted in--pot or ground--what the weather is like--scorching or alternating with overcast and/or rain--and what the ground is like--porous or clay. Temperature is less important. Remember these plants thrive in all sorts of weather when planted in gardens.
Reply:dude dont put so much water or it'll drown trust me that happened to me
