I need help figuring out a good hiding place for my Cinderella-ish story character's stuff?

The name of the story is 'The Unfortunate Tale of Alexandrina Brynn Kent'. The plot is this: this girl's sickly father gets married to a horrid woman, and then he dies two years later. She's kind of like a modern-day Cinderella, and she has some stuff like a picture, a locket, some dried flowers and a diary that she needs to hide. Any ideas on a good hiding spot? I can tell you a bit more about the plot. Oh, yeah, she livese in an old stone house.

A box she hides under her bead. A hollowed out space behind a picture. Taped to the underside of the dining room table. In a waterproof container in the toilet tank. Buried in the yard. Behind a loose stone around the fireplace.
Reply:Maybe move a brick(or stone) outside in the wall of the house or something and have a secret cubby?
Reply:How about under a loose floorboard?
