I have a mountain ash that gets loads of flowers. When the flowers die off, instead of turning to a berry they dry up and fall off. We have plenty of bees and hummingbirds the go to it. Does anyone know what is happening?
Why doesn't my mountain ash get berries?
I think there are male and female mountain ash trees. One gets berries and the other doesn't.
Personally, I'd want the one sans berries as they are a mess to clean up.
