What are some very good lotions?

I have very dry skin and want to get a good lotion to help. It seems that any lotion I use thought does not help really.



I have heard that you put the lotion on right after your shower. Do you pat dry first or put directly on wet skin?



Also suggest some good lotions. It cannot have a strong powder, flower, or vanilla scent because my mom is allergic to those scents and cannot be around them. I want it to have a good clean nice scent though.



Also reccomend a good one that is not greasy. You can also reccomend no-greasy in shower body lotions.

What are some very good lotions?
Well. Like u I was looking for a while and found Vaseline Cocoa Butter Deep Conditioning. Its awesome is thick but absorbs very well and doesn't leave u greasy or oily and stays on until u take a shower or wash ur hands. My skin is much better now. Doesn't have a strong smell it just smell like cocoa butter and when it dries the smell is light. I used to use baby oil after the shower and before drying but of course its too oily and my towel will get dirty really fast.



I dry first and then put the lotion.



Body lotions I likes Caress Tahitian Renewal or from Bath and body works.
Reply:Yeah, you have the best opening when it lotion REALLY works after the shower...Probably within 2-5 minutes after...I would put it on your wet skin.

Reply:I highly recommend Johnson's baby lotion. It doesn't have a strong smell and makes my skin REALLY soft.
Reply:you should pat dry first before you put on the lotion. some good brands of lotion are aveeno, vaseline and baby lotion.
Reply:ULTA's lavender lotion, it makes your skin smooth and shiny.also it smells like heaven! SO GOOD!!!
Reply:Drink lots of water and eat more fruits and vegetables it will help hydrate your skin and moisturize your skin.





Also you could try taking a bath and put a few drops of baby oil in the water.



Aveeno lotion brand is one of the best lotions to use it really helps dry skin. They have non-scented ones.

Reply:yes putting on lotion after your shower really works because it hold the moisture in from your shower. I would pat your skin dry first and then apply it while your skin is still moist. A lotion that I love is Goldbond's lotion (cant think of the name of it right now, the same ppl that make the foot powder). It works wonders me! And it doesnt have a strong scent.
