Lilly plant problem?
Is that a day Lilly!! They only bloom for one day and died. I talk about flowers part. You never could kill anything like that. They are bulb flowers. They will grow back. What you could do with them is just pull them out in late fall. When it starts a winter, go clean your garden like you do in spring. Use the bulbs' planter dig the garden deeper, Make sure you cut the dead stems out, and put all the bulbs down there. When spring comes next year it will growing up again. Clean your garden again arond the plants, and put some more soil around them to grow the other flowers or seeds. This way you will have the Lilly plants bloom in spring, and some of your flowers will bloom in spring and the other will bloom in fall. Some of my Lilly's are blooming again now. I keep cut the dead flowers when they finish blooming. One thing about the bulb plants, they never die, but always want to multiply. Then you need to dig some of them out and plant them somewhere else. This way they will grow better. Don't grow any vegetable or anything else in your flowers garden. It would be harder to take care. I water my garden everyday and with the best fertilizer them every week. I know some people don't water or fertilizer them as much, but I doing it because they are looking like they are going to die on me when I didn't. Enjoy your Lilly's garden. Good luck to you.
