I had a wedding nightmare last night!!?

I get married in 2 weeks; last night I dreamt my flowers dried up and went all wrinkly - and turned colour from white to orange (!!), my cousin turned up in a pink bridesmaids dress as she didn't fit into her black %26amp; champange one, I walked out without my veil and my dress was too short. It was awful!!

Have any of you had awful dreams before your wedding??

I had a wedding nightmare last night!!?
Oh yes, I have had many dreams about wedding disasters and so has my fiance.

Don't worry, it's just your mind churning over thoughts while you sleep....and of course your wedding will be in your thoughts constantly.

It is a relief when you wake and and think 'ah, it was only a dream!!!'

Try to take some time out and relax from all the wedding nerves - maybe a nice massage or facial will put you at ease.

Oh, and don't listen to Elsie, obviously she has not had the experience of preparing to get married.

Congrats to you :o)
Reply:I think that you think your cousin fancies your man 2B or vice versa.
Reply:Yes! I had a wedding nightmare a few weeks ago! I couldn't find my bra or slip, my hair was a disaster, no one was helping me get ready. When I got to the ceremony the musicians didn't know the music, I got in a fight with my mom. When I walked down the aisle there were other people in my way and the guys were standing in the wrong places. It was really bad! I definitely know what you're talking about. Best wishes!
Reply:I did have those dreams. My dress was black. I forgot to put on makeup. I forgot to take a shower and wash my hair. I forgot to buy him a ring.

Dont worry, its normal, and it just means you are concerned about the details, which I am sure you have taken care of already!
Reply:More evidence that big weddings are not worth it in the slightest. Waste of time effort, stress and money. Its your marriage thats important- not one poxy day.

in my opinion anyway- don't mean to cause offence and good lluck.
Reply:I was plagued with nightmares before my wedding. Big things, like the moment I walked down the aisle I realized I had never gone dress shopping. Or that my bridesmaids insisted on getting their hair done first and there was no time to do mine, so I wore a ponytail that I slept in! Or that the caterer made the wrong food and it was horrible.

I feel for you! I know how stressful the last couple months are.
Reply:No, thank God. But I did have the fear during the wedding about the question when the pastor says " If there is cause why these two should not be married, speak now and forever hold your peace" and then the moment of silence. I looked at the guests and I was afraid of one of my ex's coming thru the door to stop it. And I did have an ex who did threaten that he'd stop the wedding. ANd then the part about signing something for the church that we'd work out our disagreements and it we went to counseling and if we couldn't get them resolved, then we could divorse and I was thinking "No!". And the reason why was because when I was engaged something tragic happened to one of the pastor's daughter's.

It's a long story.
Reply:mine was that we just had dinner with my parents and totally forgot to go to the reception where EVERYONE was waiting for us haha....

then another where no one was dancing - the DJ sucked .....this one really scared me haha
Reply:Everyone. I've only been engaged 2 months and I do.
Reply:I think you should laugh at your dream and see it as a comedy sketch of what might have been if you had opted for an alternative type of wedding! I have vivid dreams about all sorts of things and mostly they entertain me. Don't worry about it; enjoy.
Reply:My sister sure did and it's all because of the pre-wedding stress/nerves. My sis organised all of her wedding so was rushed off her feet and many a night she would have nightmares about wedding disasters.

Try not to worry as it's not a premonition.
Reply:I have them every once and a while. For me, it is usually all of a sudden the day of my wedding but only the things I had done in real life up to that point were done. They are awful but I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who has them.
Reply:yea i did its just nerves gettin the best of you dont worry about it and congratulations and good luck to you and your fiance
Reply:i think your dreams means you want to spend the night with me before you are promised away forever.
