In school I have this assignment on how to make perfume and stuff and I was wondering if there were any really easy perfume recipes out there. Unfortunately, I don't have any extracts and there's no way I can get some. I do have dried flowers and stuff if that'll work. Lol. Btw, this assignment's due next week.
EASY Homemade Perfume Ideas?
You can create your own perfume by taking the dried flowers that you have %26amp; placing them in a crock pot. Cover the flowers with vodka %26amp; simmer on low for a couple of hours. The vodka breaks down the essense of the flower. (This is called a tincture - you can do it with herbs as well). Strain the mixture in a bottle, add some distilled water %26amp; you have a body spray. To make a hydrating body spray, you can add a small amount of unscented lotion.
You can substitute a light oil such as safflower oil for the vodka %26amp; make a perfumed oil instead if needed.
