I've seen websites that talk about taking old bowling balls, and glues dragon tears (glass blobs) onto them, and putting them out in flower beds to make gazing balls. I tried this using an epoxy glue, but while the glue stuck to the bowling ball, the glass blobs fell right off, with the lightest touch. even after a full day of drying, and with out any weather. any sugestions?
Bowling ball turned into a gazing ball...?
Try an adhesive like liquid nails. I've bought this at many stores like Lowe's or Home Depot. Scratching the surface with rough sandpaper should help glue to adhere. Be sure to let the glue dry and cure in a warm and dry area .... with good ventilation.
Reply:Try Liquid Latex--that usually works for most things--if it doesn't in this case, maybe its b/c your bowling ball is too shiny--scratch up the surface with a harsh piece of sanding paper %26amp; then try again.
Or try rubber cemement--it may work.
