I know this plant is an invasive weed, but I really want to grow it for medicinal properties in a flower pot in my home. I can only find the dead dried plant for sale. Can anybody find where I can get live plant, rhizome, or seed? If you have it, can I buy it off you? I'm also looking for Giant Knotweed. I know that it grows rampant all over Europe. Thank you.

It is illegal to sell live plants or seeds of a problematic invasive species.
You will have to settle for the dried - unless you move to Asia, where it is a native plant, and therefore not a problem.
