My husband is in Iraq and had orchids sent to me. (He's SUCH a sweetheart) They are so beautiful, and I really want to save them. I have dried roses in the past, but I'm not sure if orchids will work out the same. I've tried to find information by doing a search online, but all I find is how to care for potted orchids.
If anyone can tell me how to save at least one of these flowers, please let me know! Thank you!
How can I dry or otherwise preserve my orchid?
I tried the hanging method, did not work that well for orchids, due to the fact that they are so tender and fragile. I had pressed them in books, and looks great. You can later get them framed.

Reply:After keeping it, put it in a book and leave till it is dried. Then you can have the beautiful flower for a long time. It will be dried flowers.
