We can make pot pourris from dry lemons oranges lavender flowers etc... but need good advice/receipe from you all intelligent friends...... plz help

No matter what you put in the mix, you must have potpourri fragrance oils. You should probably sample several sources to find the best oils, if you want to be the best.

Reply:Old fashioned way:
Dry rose petals or any fragrant flower petals or citrus peels, mint leaves, any aromatic leaves - separately between the pages of thick books. Stack the books one on top of the other and put a weight on top. After 10 days or so, when the leaves, petals etc are dry, crush them coarsely and fill in small muslin bags - make the bags about the size of tea bags or any size you prefer. Tie up the bags and use them wherever you like. You could also add a few drops of essential oils or perfumes if you want to enhance the fragrance. This is what we were taught in craft classes 40 years ago, Im sure there must be better methods nowadays which other members would let you know about.
However, in humid climates, pot pourris do not have the same effect as in dry climates.
