The flower was about 4-5 inches tall, and 3ish inches across. The petals were only about a 1/4 inch wide and they pretty much just stuck staight up. As it dried it kept its shape and color. The pink was a very soft baby pink, and the tips were jet black, almost like fur. I really loved this flower but have no idea what it was.
I was given a flower and i can't find out what it is! Pink with black fur tips, feels like velvet.?
It's a Pink Mink Protea
The description was perfect really since it's such a distinctive flower.
Biggest picture of the type but not with the jet black tips -http://www.flowerpictures.net/maui_flowe...
Extreme close-up of the flower - http://www.digitalfieldguide.com/blog/35...
Close-up and pretty - http://picasaweb.google.com/lucylee.jone...
Hope this helps!
